The finalists for Pole Art 2011 have been announced! You will find the complete list in the Participants section.
The call for applications for Pole Art is now closed. You sent an amazing total of 90 applications for the showcase and the female and male competitive series from altogether 19 different countries. The largest numbers of applications came from Finland (8), USA (14), Russia (15), and France (20). Thank you for your enthusiasm and innovative ideas, The finalists will be announced by July 1.

Spectators: If you would like to start planning your Pole Art trip in advance, feel free make use of our visitor guide. Tickets will be available online starting June 1st.
Performers: last application date is June 10. Submit your application online to enter. Finalists compete for 1000 EUR (male and female series respectively) in front of a live audience in October. Alternatively, enter our non-competative showcase with solo/group/mixed discipline performances and let your uninhibited creativity flow. Spectators: keep an eye on Tickets and Workshops!
Pole Art 2011 has been announced! This year's event is held at the Savoy Theater in Helsinki on October 22. Stay tuned for further details.

Audience vote for the final (12th) spot in Pole Art 2010 competition has started. Vote for your favourite candidate at http://www.youtube.com/user/PoleArtCompetition. The candidate whose video has the largest number of viewing times (and who has not already been chosen to the final by the judges) will get the 12th spot in the competition final. Multiple viewings are allowed!
Pole Art are proud to present Australian Pole Dance and the Asia Pacific Pole Dance Championships as our affiliates in the pursuit for artistic pole dance. This dedicated organisation and competition much share our own vision of artistry, technique, professionalism as well as encouraging both male and female performers in pole dance.

We appraciate the diversity of the international pole dance scene and want to encourage all of our collegues world wide to participate - be they English speakers or not.
