About
Pole Art is an international showcase event and poledance competition focusing on displaying the artistry, beauty and showmanship in poledance.
The event consists of
- A non-competitive showcase section: 5 performances
- An advanced competitive section: 9 female solo finalists, 4 male solo finalists
The numbers of showcase and competitive finalists are subject to change and will be decided after reviewing all applications.
Award
- The male and female solo Pole Art Champions will receive a cash prize of 1000 EUR.
- The runners-up will receive 400 EUR respectively.
Winners’ cash prizes are courtesy of The Pole King, Sweden
For both categories
- No trick limitations
- No participants fee
Poles
- Two 45mm chrome poles, static/spinning, at least 340cm high, at least 275cm between poles
Final details about poles will be announced later.
The event is open to participants from all countries.
Please note: this is not only a sports event - this is a display of talent, creativity and art.
Originality and out-of-the-box thinking is highly encouraged throughout the entire event, but especially so in the showcase section where participants are in no way limited by the panel's score.
Bring out your wildest ideas with solo or group performances, use doubles or triples on one pole. Bring various props on stage, experiment with additional apparatus or show us something really experimental and different.
